How to measure, a general size chart, and how to keep your pieces beautiful for years.

How to measure
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and snug.
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 8″ below the waist.
- Shoulder: Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Blouse length: From the shoulder seam down to your desired blouse hem.
- Kameez/Kurti length: From the shoulder down to where you want the hem to fall.
Tip: measure over light clothing with a soft tape, and keep it level and comfortably snug — not tight.
Fabric care
Silk (Kanjivaram, Banarasi, Mysore)
Dry clean only. Store wrapped in a soft cotton cloth, away from direct sunlight. Avoid spraying perfume directly on the fabric.
Cotton & Muslin / Jamdani
Gentle hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, or dry clean. Do not wring; dry in shade. Iron on medium while slightly damp.
Chiffon & Georgette
Hand wash separately in cold water or dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Hang to dry; iron on low heat.
Pashmina & Wool Shawls
Dry clean recommended. Fold (don’t hang) to store, with cedar or natural moth repellent.
Embellished / Zari / stone work
Always dry clean. Turn inside out for storage; avoid hanging heavy embellished pieces for long periods.
